Hey beauts,

I'm finally back from all of the birthday trips, and I thought I would get back into the swing of things with the perfect outfit challenge. I entered the last Passion For Fashion competition, and when I knew there was a new one, I knew I had to enter this too.
If you would like to find out more about this Money Supermarket challenge and find out how you can enter yourself, head over to the Passion For Fashion page here.

CASUAL
Can we just stop for a second and enjoy the beauty that is this dress. The moment I saw it, I knew I had to include it.
After all of this cold and snow, I'm totally ready for some warm, bright days, and I'm so ready to whip out some dresses and ridiculous amounts of accessories.
This casual outfit pretty much sums up the majority of my current obsessions. I'm loving blue, prints, platforms and fringing.

BEACH/HOLIDAY
For the beach/holiday section of this challenge, I wanted to go for something a little different.
I first found the bikini set which grabbed my attention straight away. I then decided to focus the entire outfit around what would look good worn over and with said bikini set.
I absolutely adore the retro feel of this outfit. It isn't something I would usually go for, but now I totally want to wear it!

PARTY
For my party look, I knew instantly I had to start with Zara, another current obsession of mine.
I love the simple black focus of this outfit and the embellished items just give it something fancy.
This is an outfit I would want to wear every moment of every day. Aren't the shoes to die for?!

I'd love to know if you've entered too. Leave a comment below, and I'll check out your entry!
Hope you're all well.

surfdome2

I was contacted the other day to let me know about a new competition being run by Surfdome.
To be in a chance to win a £250 voucher, all I had to do was create my very own wishlist to that amount.

So, for the next four hours I sat and scoured the entire site. This competition couldn't have come at a better time! I had never heard of Surfdome before, but it is the ideal place to get some bits suitable for dog walking. Something I can finally start doing next week! I'm so excited, but I'm pretty sure Bug won't know what's hit him when he meets some much bigger doggies in the park.

I picked out some wellies, a new scarf and a pair of gloves. All things I don't own at the minute, but will certainly need. I then decided to pick a pair of sunglasses as mine are battered and no doubt some early morning walks will mean I need them. There's nothing worse than squinting.

I go through slippers like crazy throughout the Winter, so an extra pair to the ones I own right now were a must! I then went on to find some long sleeved winter essentials. I love the tops I have chosen, they are totally practical and still really suit my style.

The leggings, tank top and dress were all things that I saw and had to have in my basket. You guys know how much of a cat lady I am.

Above is an image of my ten items in the basket. If you can just about make it out, the total comes to £248.90. Below I will link each item, so if anything takes your fancy, you can head right over to Surfdome.

- Fat Face Space Dye Scarf Snood

- Vans Spicoli Sunglasses

Surfdome is a great online store and you can literally find anything there! I could literally have continued to fill my basket for another £250!

You may be wondering why this is being posted again. If you would like to read my original review and post you can do so here.

I have decided to scrap the rafflecopter form and start the give away again. Unfortunately  I had a lot of compers entering, just for the sake of entering. I felt this was really unfair for my loyal followers and I felt the need to put a stop to it.
I was contacted by one of the ladies who entered and was assured that not all compers are just in it for the prize, so I would like to thank her for reading When Flowers Fall after entering the competition. I hope you're still enjoying the blog.

The Giveaway will now end on the 1st December.

- You must be a follower of When Flowers Fall via GFC or Bloglovin'
-This is a UK only give away (SORRY everyone else)
- I will be checking everyone who enters and if I see any evidence that you are using your account only to enter competitions, I will not be counting your entry.

I will be finding the winner using Random.org

To enter, leave a comment below telling me your favourite thing about Winter.
Please leave your GFC or Bloglovin' name and an email address or twitter name to contact you on if you win.

Thank you for you're patience with this, and GOOD LUCK!

Untitled

This morning I was sent an email telling me about a new style competition for bloggers.
House Of Fraser has launched this comp with a prize of £200 worth of HOF vouchers. The challenge is to create a look for the next season with your top picks from the HOF website.

In September my Aunty is getting married, but due to several reasons I cannot attend. Seeing as I will be missing out on the fun of creating an actual outfit for the event, I figured this competition would be a great chance to create a look of what I might have worn.

I decided to go with the gorgeous jumpsuit because as you all know, I'm not the most confident about my legs, and lets face it, it may be a little chilly in September. I chose to pair it with the beautiful scarf rather than a necklace. This way I could drape it around my shoulders if it does get a little nippy.
Now, I bet you're thinking, but Sam, there's a necklace there. Well, I wanted something a little different and I thought the idea of pinning a super cute necklace into my hair would be stunning. Rather like a bejewelled, hippy headband. The earrings are something I would always choose. Big, statement earrings are my thing when it comes to dressing up. I love them. I chose a simple pair of heels, of which the heels are not too thin (don't want to be sinking into the grass during photos,) and would be comfortable for all day wear. The clutch gives a little more sparkle to the whole outfit and would be just big enough to carry around your essentials for the day.

I absolutely love the look I have managed to come up with, and I've loved every minute of this challenge.
Who doesn't like a good window shop.

If you would like to enter yourselves go the the HOF blog for more information.

Hi Lovelies!
I recently came across a little competition on the Bobbi Brown Facebook page, so I thought I'd give it a go seeing as all you had to do was 'like' the page and enter your details.
Well, I won! Woo! This is the first thing I've won, so as you can imagine I was quite chuffed.
The item I won was a sample size of the Perfectly Defined Mascara. I've never tried anything from Bobbi Brown before so I was really looked forward to getting it in the post.
When I received it Saturday morning the first thing I thought was 'damn, I've already put my make-up on!'
When I did get to give it a go though, the brush seemed nice, nothing fancy and not too chunky and the formula was pleasantly runny. I don't really like mascaras that feel thick and clumpy. I'd much rather work with something that doesn't instantly give me the spider lash effect!
This amazing result was after only one coat! I can't remember the last mascara I used where I didn't have to apply two coats for it to even look half this good.
The mascara certainly did what it says it does, it defines your lashes and I'd even say it gives amazing length as well. I didn't curl my lashes before use as I wanted to see what it would be like on my natural lashes, no prepping. The product seemed to give a good curl without making it look too forced, and my lashes didn't feel crisp after application either.
I have nothing but good things to say about this product and I would definitely look into buying a full size.
I am so pleased I got to try this out and would really recommend entering the next little comp they run on the facebook page. You never know, you may just win. :)
