I have decided to scrap the rafflecopter form and start the give away again. Unfortunately  I had a lot of compers entering, just for the sake of entering. I felt this was really unfair for my loyal followers and I felt the need to put a stop to it.

Being a #VIPmakebeliever, I'm lucky enough to try out products for them every now and then.
Last week, they contacted me and asked if I would like to try their bronzer. Of course, being the bronzer lover that I am, I jumped at the chance.

The bronzer and brush set comes in a simple black and gold box which houses a mirror in the lid and a magnetic closing feature. As with the tanning products, I absolutely love the design of the packaging. I do feel that maybe it's a teeny bit big if you are wanting to pop it in your handbag, but other than that I have absolutely no complaints. The magnet is nice and strong, so you can be sure that your bronzer will stay safe if you do decided to carry out with you.

The bronzer itself is soft and matte. There's nothing worse than an over shimmery face. The powder is nice and solid, therefore fallout and excess powder is minimal. It gives a gorgeous glow and does exactly what it says on the box. 

I prefer to use this as a soft contour, but it's also perfect if you want an extra bit of colour on your skin. 

To get the most from this bronzer, try using it with Makebelieve fake tan in zone 3. 

The brush is absolutely incredible. I'm always a little dubious about brushes that come with a product, but this one is so soft!! The brush is the perfect size to contour cheekbones and popping in your bag to take out with you. Usually I would normally forget about these kinds of brushes, but this one will now be a staple in my kit. I love it that much.

Hello, my lovelies!

I have been rambling on about this weekend for weeks and I can finally share my experience with you. Although I do warn you, it's very picture heavy.

As you know, I won a competition and became a VIPmakebeliever for MakeBelieve Tan and one of the prizes was a ticket to a LFW show. 

We (Ebony from ElnFashion and I) started our journey at nine in the morning, travelling from Leeds to Nottingham, where I picked up Sally (RainyDayFaces), and then continued on down south. Luckily, my mum has a pub not too far from London, so we were able to park the car there and train it into the city. It also meant we all had somewhere to kip for the night.

After a long 7 hours of travelling, we arrived in sunny London. All I can say is, thank goodness for iPhones, or else probably wouldn't of found our way to Freemasons Hall. 

Once we had found it, we joined the queue for the Timur Kim show and waiting until the line started to move. The atmosphere was amazing. People really go all out for fashion week. Some outfits were incredibly unique, and I have to say I felt rather under dressed. Although, I did have a couple of girls ask for a photo of my jacket.

I think the excitement really hit us when we got inside, after all, none of us had ever attended anything like this before. The hall was stunning. We followed the crowd and were shown to our seats. Front row. Well, thanks to the genius seating plan, everyone pretty much had front row seats. But, we were literally two meters away from the media photographers and I felt like a very small fish in a very large, fashionable pond.

We did have a little mishap with seating, which resulted in me nearly having a panic attack, and Sally having to move, but we all laughed about it later and the show began.

The show was very much blue and white. Starting off with some amazing denim and silk pieces, the designs were beautifully tailored . Moving through the show, the fabrics became lighter with addition of lace and paisley prints, but very much staying within the colour palette. 

We saw incredible see through jackets, in which we all agreed would be perfect for those times when you have to cover up, but still want to show off your outfit. 

1950's inspired silhouettes were created with brilliantly cut, knee length dresses which were simple, yet stunning.

My favourite pieces have to be the knee length dress with the strapless lacy top, the white halter neck maxi with blue print and a criss cross back, tied at the waist, and Ebony and I were both in awe of the gorgeous, almost sheer, tailored pyjama style trousers. 

The show was about fifteen minutes long and I will never forget the sound of the hundreds of camera shutters going off at once. Heaven.

After the show, we scooped up our goody bags and headed down to the exhibition hall. We spoke to a couple of the designers and actually got invited to an event being held some time in October. I won't go on about this too much, but some of the pieces were to die for. So many unique concepts and designs. Beautiful eye catching colours and interesting ideas. I may do a further post on what I saw in there later in the week. 

We left the Freemasons and went for a wonder. We took our outfit photos (post coming later today) and went for something to eat. We ended out night tottering down Oxford Street, making the mistake of going into Urban Outfitters and drooling over everything we couldn't afford, then hopping on the tube to head back to mums. 

It's safe to say we were all shattered because we were fast asleep by just gone eleven. We got up at half seven the next day and began out very long journey back up north, hitting every bit of traffic we could on the M1.

I want to say an absolute huge thank you to MakeBelieve for providing us with the tickets, including the extra one which Ebony made use of. It was an incredible experience and something I will never forget. 

I made a couple of great new friends in Sally and Ebony and we are all determined to go again next year, for the whole weekend! 

I think I may just have caught the London Fashion Week bug.

Actually, I'm not. But I wish I was. 

So much so that I'm using a touch of make believe and I am going to create one at from home.

When I think of holidays, I think of the first time I ever went on an aeroplane. My mum took us to Jamaica and it was incredible. Luckily, we made friends with a Jamaican family and ended up going another 3 times in the few years to come. 

Now, I haven't been there for over ten years and I'm absolutely craving some of the Caribbean culture.

Tomorrow I'm going to start my day by having a nice lie, because who gets up super early whilst they're away?

My plan is to then go swimming with Sarah and her lit'lun and whilst they're splashing away, I'm going to sneak off into the sauna to get my Jamaican heat fix. Let's face it, the soggy Leeds weather just isn't cutting it.

I'm going to sit there imagining the the sound of the ocean waves crashing onto the gorgeous white sand beach.  

When I get home I'm going to whack on a bit of Bob Marley, imagine I'm perusing through one of the many colourful Jamaican markets and get my tanning on. I can picture it now, the hustle and bustle, the locals shouting your way trying to grab your attention, the sound of laughter, all mixed with that typical reggae beat.

I tried out Make Believe tan last week and it'll be the perfect product to fake that Jamaican glow. Now I'm talking the one week in the sun is enough kind of glow, not the looking like a lobster 2 week kind. 

Been there, done that, couldn't wear the t-shirt. It was far too painful! 

I think I'll finish my day by relaxing on my bed, writing blog posts. 

As a child, my mum used to make us write holiday diaries. At the time I hated having to sit down every evening with my pen and notepad, but now I absolutely love looking back through them and reading about the things we got up to. 

I guess you could say that's where my love of writing came from, in fact I've never thought of it like that, but it probably is. It's probably the reason I love writing this blog.

I'm hoping my little make believe holiday will help me relax a little bit. I've had a tough week with my anxiety playing up and I really think it'll help. We can't afford to fly somewhere stunning this year and sometimes you just have to use a bit of imagination.
