whenflowersfall, beauty, review, w7, bronze shimmer, bronzer,

W7 is a budget beauty brand that often gets overlooked. The products may be cheap, but boy are they good. I've been a fan of W7 for years. I've tried and loved many products and the shimmer bronzer is no exception.

The Bronze Shimmer bronzer is a smooth domed product. In pan the product does look rather orange toned, but that certainly doesn't translate onto the skin as much as you think it would. It's definitely warm toned, as you would expect a bronzer to be, but it doesn't make you look like an oompa loompa. As for the 'shimmer' part of the name. I was a little dubious and expected a bit of a glitterball product; whereas infact it is a beautifully smooth shimmer. It's so subtle that I wouldn't even describe it as that.
The bronzer is well pigmented and I'd recommend a light hand when applying; but when applied right, it gives the most beautiful warm glow to the skin.

I'm really looking forward to using this product in the coming Summer months. I'd even be happy to use this on my cheeks and high points of the face alone.

I purchased mine from Fragrance Direct, but it seems they don't have it in stock at the minute. If you do ever come across it though, I'd highly recommend picking it up.

Hey beauties,

This week is Smooch week.
I was very, very kindly sent a bundle of products to try, so I figured I would dedicate a week to reviewing said products.
I have given them a good test and I feel this week may come in handy, if you do ever fancy purchasing a few new items.

This is the Smooch Bronzer in Smooched*.
Packaged in the sleek and simple black casing , you receive a great 10g of product. This includes a highlighter shade (which can be seen below,) that is neatly swirled into the bronzer.
The packaging is very much like that of Nars, and can get a little grubby due to it's matte, rubberised finished. But, this does mean that it's less likely to slip out of your hands.
Inside the casing is a handy brush and a huge mirror. I was really impressed.
I would definitely be happy to remove my compact mirror from my hand bag if I was to be carrying this around with me during the day.

The bronzer itself is a lovely tan shade, with a soft shimmer. It may be a little too orange toned for the fairer skinned, although I very much like it for myself. After all, I do love my bronzer.
The highlighter is beautiful both on its own and mixed together with the bronzer. I did find it a little hard to use it alone as it's so thinly run through the product. I discovered using a tapered brush was the best was to pick up the highlighter only, if you do wish to do so.

I found this may not be the best bronzer for use as a contour shade, due to its shimmer. But, this may be purely down to my own preference. Each to their own.
It does on the other hand look amazing softly swept across the higher points of the face. I absolutely cannot wait to wear this is Summer when I have a little more colour in my skin to compliment it.

If you are a bronzer fan like me, or even just want to give your skin a lovely bit of colour and glow, this is the product for you.
When the sun is out, this is what I'll be reaching for.

You can purchase this on the Smooch website for £13.95.

You may be wondering why this is being posted again. If you would like to read my original review and post you can do so here.

I have decided to scrap the rafflecopter form and start the give away again. Unfortunately  I had a lot of compers entering, just for the sake of entering. I felt this was really unfair for my loyal followers and I felt the need to put a stop to it.
I was contacted by one of the ladies who entered and was assured that not all compers are just in it for the prize, so I would like to thank her for reading When Flowers Fall after entering the competition. I hope you're still enjoying the blog.

The Giveaway will now end on the 1st December.

- You must be a follower of When Flowers Fall via GFC or Bloglovin'
-This is a UK only give away (SORRY everyone else)
- I will be checking everyone who enters and if I see any evidence that you are using your account only to enter competitions, I will not be counting your entry.

I will be finding the winner using Random.org

To enter, leave a comment below telling me your favourite thing about Winter.
Please leave your GFC or Bloglovin' name and an email address or twitter name to contact you on if you win.

Thank you for you're patience with this, and GOOD LUCK!

Being a #VIPmakebeliever, I'm lucky enough to try out products for them every now and then.
Last week, they contacted me and asked if I would like to try their bronzer. Of course, being the bronzer lover that I am, I jumped at the chance.

The bronzer and brush set comes in a simple black and gold box which houses a mirror in the lid and a magnetic closing feature. As with the tanning products, I absolutely love the design of the packaging. I do feel that maybe it's a teeny bit big if you are wanting to pop it in your handbag, but other than that I have absolutely no complaints. The magnet is nice and strong, so you can be sure that your bronzer will stay safe if you do decided to carry out with you.

The bronzer itself is soft and matte. There's nothing worse than an over shimmery face. The powder is nice and solid, therefore fallout and excess powder is minimal. It gives a gorgeous glow and does exactly what it says on the box.

I prefer to use this as a soft contour, but it's also perfect if you want an extra bit of colour on your skin.
To get the most from this bronzer, try using it with Makebelieve fake tan in zone 3.

The brush is absolutely incredible. I'm always a little dubious about brushes that come with a product, but this one is so soft!! The brush is the perfect size to contour cheekbones and popping in your bag to take out with you. Usually I would normally forget about these kinds of brushes, but this one will now be a staple in my kit. I love it that much.

Makebelieve have very nicely supplied me with an extra bronzer for one of you guys. So if you fancy your chances of winning, make sure to enter below. Unfortunately the give away is for UK residents only. SORRRYYY.
If not, you can buy the bronzer for £15.00 here.

If you would like to enter this competition, please click this link. I have had to restart it due to far too many accounts used for entering give aways only entered. I feel it's so unfair for my actual followers. If I see that your twitter/facebook acc etc is posting give aways only, I will not be counting your entry!

Bluetooth Folder5
MURAD Skin Perfecting Primer - Matte Finish
MUA Mosaic Bronzer - Natural Glow
NEXT Volumising Mascara - Black

Happy Monday, Lovelies!

Soooo, I haven't done one of these for 3 weeks!
Bad Sam!

After having an eventful weekend of wearing a full face of make-up, I thought I would give my skin a little rest and go lightly with it today.

I was over the moon to see the Murad Primer in the bottom of my goody bag from the #leedsbloggermeetup2012. I've tried a sample of the dewy finish primer and you can see the review for that here. This one applies very much the same, but I think I definitely prefer the matte finish.

Today seems to be turning into a rather lazy day. My insomnia is playing hell at the moment, so I think I'm going to spent the rest of the day relaxing, catching up on my blog reads and drinking tea.
Perfection.

Hi Lovelies!
I really wanted to share the tutorial in which I created todays Monday Make-up look. I don't do it very often and I feel like it's really cheeky of me to ask, but I would very much appreciate it if you all could give this video a cheeky little thumbs up?
I am very honoured that I got that the opportunity to work with Next and their new beauty line for Autumn/Winter.
Check out their range at http://www.next.co.uk/women/beauty
Hope you are all having a fab monday!

If any of you follow my monthly favourites, you will already know my love for the mosaic blusher in English Rose, so on my last trip to Superdrug, I had to pick this up.
I took a little while choosing the shade as the bronzer is available in both natural glow and sun kissed glow. I decided on natural glow as the tones are more golden, whereas sun kissed glow is a lot more pink.
When swatched the bronzer gives a lot of colour with a little sparkle, but when applied with a brush the colour pay out is much more subtle, which I like. I find the bronzer to be very easy to work with and it gives the most amazing natural bronzy looks, just as the name suggests.
You can purchase this bronzer at any Superdrug store that carries the Pro line or you can visit the MUA website.

Hi Lovelies!
This post has been a long time coming. I received this Africa by W7 bronzer at Christmas and I've loved it ever since.
Even though it is sold as a bronzer, I find it to be more of a blush as it gives a very slight pinky tone to your skin. It's very sheer and doesn't over power you.
As you can see from the photo below, it does have a slight shimmer, but I think that's nice in a bronzer/blush. I tend to use this product more when I'm creating a dramatic look, ie winged eye liner or red lips.
I will definitely be buying more of the W7 boxed products. They are a very cheap alternative to the benefit box blushes, which I am also very keen to get my hands on.
