Sporting my new 'do', it's a little wild right now so simple make-up is important.

Hi lovelies!

I recently purchased this lipstick for a pound!! Yes, one Great British Pound. I found it in the cosmetics sale I have mentioned in previous posts and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the sale is still on when I'm not poor again. 

The first thing that stood out for me was the packaging. Anything bright and purple is likely to catch my eye and I was even more surprised when I didn't hate the shade of lipstick inside. I usually find with sales, that the colours aren't the greatest and are usually the ones that didn't sell so well in the first place.

Now, we all know by now that I love my lipstick. I generally lean towards brights and pinks, but I fell in love with this deep pinky red. It applies opaque and the formula is soft and smooth to apply, so doesn't tug too much on your lips. 

I have to admit, my favourite thing about this lipstick is the name. Fleur-tatious just reminds me of Fleur De Force! I wonder if she knows about this lipstick!

Classy, simple and elegant!

Bold Lips. 

     This is one make-up trend I have never really followed, until now. In my latest ELF haul, I purchased two lips colours, a studio matte lip colour in 'Natural', which isn't really for the bold look, but the other was their plumping lip glaze in 'Ruby Kiss', which is the most gorgeous deep red gloss. Now usually I wouldn't wear a gloss because personally I don't like the sticky feel, but the colour itself is enough to make me want to wear it.

One celeb to watch for bold lips is Lauren Conrad. The Hills beauty seems to be rarely without this statement look. From rich burgundys to hot pinks, LC always wears this look teamed with the perfect winged eyeliner.
