Truthfully, the title of this post has nothing to do with the post. It's simply the song that it stuck in my head right now.

A few weeks back I was asked to write a couple of posts for the blog on SpyLoveBuy. In return they offered to send me a pair of shoes of my choice.
The shoes I chose were the Sandra block heel boots.  I tried to chose a more 'Winter suitable' pair, but I keep on going back to these. When they arrived, they were just as beautiful as I thought, and even though Liam hates how tall I am in them, I adore them.

These may not be puppy walking boots, but they're certainly going to get a lot of wear!

Hey, lovelies!

A little while back I spent the afternoon shooting some outfit photos. I kept a few of the back for a rainy day, but then proceeded to change my hair, and I simply forgot all about them.
Whilst flicking through my photo folders last night, I came across them and figured I would post them today before I forget about them again.

It's really weird seeing me wearing those shoes. They're now dead and gone, all chewed up by Mr.Bug. Problem is, now I don't own one single pair of pumps. Hurry Christmas, I need to do shopping for myself! Haha.

I'd totally planned on filming a couple of beauty videos today, but I seem to have had an allergic reaction to something and my skin is as dry as a desert.

Can you believe it's the 11th already?

A little while back I was lucky enough to win a competition over on Facebook.
I won this gorgeous vintage leather bag and I absolutely love it. Next time I use it I need to remember to take a photo of the clasp, it's so unique!

T-shirt - ??? I stole it from Liam
Maxi - Primark

It's the first day of Liams two weeks off and we've been running around town just getting some errands done. We haven't really got any other plans for today. Just some relaxing and an early night.

I've been obsessed with the jacket, ever since I received it on Saturday morning. I'm literally wearing it with everything.

Sorry this is such a short post.
Hope you all had a good Monday.

Well, hello there.
You guys know that I spent weeks worrying about what I was going to wear on my trip to London.
After a week of free listings on ebay, I managed to raise enough funds to buy a new pair of boots, and Orange Circle offered to send me a T-shirt to sport on the day too.
Unfortunately, that t-shirt still hasn't arrived and I think it may have gotten lost in the world of Royal Mail.
So, without further a do, here is what I managed to pull together.

LFWSpringSummer201316Jacket - Charity Shop / DIY
T-shirt - Orange Circle
Disco Pants - Glamorous
Boots - Ebay
Rings - Otley market, Kukee, Engagement ring.

Now, you may be wondering how I'm still wearing an Orange Circle Tee. I did have this one in my wardrobe, but it was sporting a rather evil looking stain. On the day before I left, the day I realised I wasn't going to receive the new one, I attacked it with bleach and luckily the stain came out. I felt really bad that they had sent me a t-shirt to wear and I still wanted to show off some Orange Circle if I could.
The jacket was a last minute change of plan. I did originally plan to wear a sheer, silky cream jacket I had customised. But, being London, it was rather windy and nippy so I figured the denim would be a better choice. I even had a photo of it taken. (Just wish I had found out what for.)

As you can see form my face, I was pretty shattered from the 5 hour drive earlier that day, so I decided to go minimal with make-up, but wear a bold lip.
My hair was a disaster. Originally it was down and beachy looking, but it was roasting in the Freemasons Hall and I ended up scraping it back.

I think if I'm to go next year, I will choose to dress differently. Maybe a little less casual?
That being said, I am glad I was comfortable, because I felt ever so sorry for Ebony, who had been wearing her heels since seven in the morning.

Make sure to go over to Sally and Ebony's blog to see what they wore.

Hi my lovelies!
I really wanted to share my outfit from yesterday, so here it is in all its grungey-ness.
Believe me when I say that the shoes were great, right up until I was getting on the train on the way home and blisters started to appear. The day way totally worth it though.

If you want to see all the happenings from yesterdays event, make sure to check out my post here

Psssst...Keep your beady eyes peeled. I'll be posting a give away later on today!

ALSO BIG THANK YOU TO SARAH (BOWSANDBLUSHX) FOR TAKING THESE PHOTOS FOR ME. :)

Hi lovelies!
Ta Daaaaa!! I'm finally revealing  my new hair colour. After experimenting with the lighter purple shade, I thought I'd take the plunge and finally dye my hair the colour I've been craving for a while!
Today, I started my new health kick with Liam and it's safe to say that I'm pretty damn hungry right now, but hopefully all will come good and it will pay off.
Hope you are all having a fab Thursday!

Pictures13T-shirt - Orange Circle
Maxi Skirt - Primark (Maxi Dress)

Hi lovelies!
Yes, that really is all there is to this outfit. I think there's nothing better than wearing something simple and comfy when the weather is being unpredictable.
I think you may have all seen this 'skirt' before, but if you haven't, it's actually a maxi dress from Primark. Only problem is, because I'm so tall, it looks awful as an actual dress. I think I prefer to wear it this way anyway, purely for the fact that it's super long and I find I trip up it less when it's this length. Strange, right?
Anywhooooo, I'm off to potter around the house.
Hope you're all well!

Hi my lovelies,
Yesterday my good pal Sarah and I went on a trek up the hill in town. We ended up finding a public bridle path and decided it was a great place to take some outfit photos.

I had a really bad time looking back at these photos. These are first photos of myself where I've really seen how much weight I have gained. Like I said in my last outfit post, I am still proud of my curves, I've just never really noticed how big I actually look.
Thankfully, I am on my big health kick and so far I have walked 7 miles this week, 7 miles I wouldn't normally walk. Hopefully this'll pay off and I will feel much more toned and a little slimmer.

If you haven't already noticed, I have added a new advert/button over to the right there. Two bloggers, Sophia and Sandra are venturing into a new chapter of their life by trying to lose 90lbs.
I urge you all to go and follow their new blog and support them in their journey. I am right behind them, and doing it with them in my own little way. This means that Friday Fitday posts will become regular again, I am no longer slacking, and I really mean business. (Yes, I know I've said that a hundred times. This time it's for real.)

If any of you guys have some healthy meal ideas or exercise tips. Make sure to leave them in the comments below.
Hope you guys are well!

P.S. Here's a little summat summat to make you chuckle.

Maxi Dress - New Look

Hi Lovelies!
I've been wanting to do an outfit posts for a couple of days now, only problem is, I have squished my tripod in behind my desk in the study so I can now use it to film tutorials and such like. So I'm doing it this way, I thought I may as well take advantage of having a huge mirrored wardrobe. I think I may have to eventually get another tripod so I don't have to struggle getting my other one in and out all of the time though.

Now, It's not like me to normally wear something so figure hugging, but I came across a site that seemed to be only selling dresses that would fit UK size 4-10. I'm not going to name the site, but I can most certainly tell you that I am a little sickened by it.

I like to think that my style is a little edgy ( or at least I would like it to be that way, you all know my current wardrobe issues,) but it annoys me to see so many websites/stores that only sell the good stuff in smaller sizes.
I'm currently a UK size 16, and even though I am trying to lose weight, it's mainly for health reasons and to tone up, rather than the fact that I want to be super skinny. I mean, yeah, it would be nice to be a little slimmer, but I actually love my curves and I really want to embrace them.

If I can do one thing through blogging, I would love for it to be teaching other girls to love their shape and who they are. You have one body, you should look after it and love what you have.
Remember, everyone is different, and most images online or in magazines are usually photoshopped.

What do you guys think of stores that only carry selected sizes?

Happy Sunday Everyone!
Liam and I went for a stroll around a few shops today, so I thought I would give you a little OOTD along with my FOTD today. You can see a little glimpse of my new shoes which I am in love with! I'll be featuring them in a haul as soon as my other bits and bobs arrive. Liam hates them!
I've been feeling really self conscious for the past couple of days, so I'm loving the fact that the sunshine in the middle photo makes me look much skinnier than I am. I've taken up a new workout plan that I'll be sharing with you guys on Friday and fingers crossed by them I can say that I have lost a couple of pounds.
What have you guys been up to this weekend?

Hi my lovelies!
I think it's safe to say TGIF this week. I've got a day of cleaning ahead of me again, we've more flat viewings tomorrow morning and Liam's at work, so muggins here has to do it all herself.
Saying that, I don't think I'm really dressed for cleaning the flat. I've been wanting to wear this dress/skirt for days, but with work and other things that have happened, a skirt never seemed appropriate.
The tank top is one of my favourites. It began life as a plain white t-shirt until I added the purple dip dye, skulls and cut off the sleeves.
Keep your pretty eyes peeled for a haul up on my youtube channel within the next month, I may or may not have done a little bit of naughty shopping.
Hope you all have a fab Friday, I'll check in with you all again later this weekend.

Shirt - George at Asda/DIY Dyed Black
Tank Top - Primark (last year)
Jeans - South Denim/DIY ripped and dyed
Flats - Primark

G'Morning you beauties!
I thought I'd sport some of my DIY bits today. It felt right seeing as I am going to try and DIY some more stuff today. I'm not too sure what yet, but I feel like doing something productive. I may even pack up some more housey bits ready for the move.
Also, sorry I'm wearing the exact same shoes as yesterdays post, I've already packed up my shoe collection. But, I'd probably usually wear my chunky heeled boots with this outfit. I still haven't managed to get my hands on a pair of creepers, which would also look great with something like this!!
Man, I need a pair so bad!! Haha.

T-shirt - Orange Circle
Jeans/Leggings - Select
Flats - Primark

Hi my loves,
I'm really loving doing these little outfits of the day posts. I don't usually wear such bright colous, but I was given these as a gift and I fell in love with them! They are super stretchy and super comfy. Perfect for summer! (When ever it gets here.)
My t-shirt is one of my favourites and you've probably seen it before. I won this, along two others and ever since I've been trying to find some money so I can add to my wardrobe. I am in love with pretty much every single design and I would probably wear an Orange Circle tee every day if I could! Also, I need this (and this)  in my wardrobe by winter!
My shoes re just my trusty old flats that I purchased in March, they're falling apart, but I refuse to let them go until they are literally falling off of my feet. They are just so comfy!

I hope you all have a fab Tuesday!!

Hat - ???
Top - Originally from George at Asda, DIY by me
Leggings - Originally from Primark, Dyed a darker colour by me.

I'm off out to view a house today, so I thought I should go with an outfit less in your face than the last one I posted. Obviously, I couldn't go without a cross though. Believe it or not, this was the first top I ever DIY-ed and I'm still in love with it. You can find out HERE how I did it.
The leggings were originally a light brown, almost skin colour. (Why I ever bought them, I don't know!) I tried to dye the black the other day along with another pair and they both failed to take the dye, luckily these have turned a little darker which means I am more than happy to wear them now.
I'm finally feeling more and more confident in myself to post OOTDs. My weightloss is going well and I'm still looking forward to seeing a smaller me in OOTDs of the future. Make sure to follow my Friday Fitday posts to see how I'm getting on.
Have any of you guys got any favourite DIY's you can link me to?

Sunday, 10 June 2012

Hey Lovelies!
I'd say this week has been a pretty productive one. I've done all sorts, from customising a couple of tanks tops and finishing a pair of denim shorts I started weeks ago to posting my first OOTD and clearing out my old crappy wardrobe. It's safe to say I am now pretty clothe-less, I literally pulled out everything I didn't like any more. That being said, a lot of these items are now up on my Blog shop (button in the sidebar) and if anything takes your fancy just shoot me a message. Keep an eye on it because a good few more items are yet to be added.
As well as all of the DIY-ing, we also celebrated the Queens Jubilee by walking up the biggest hill in town to see the beacons get lit. Since then I have been on a real health kick and I am now undergoing a diet detox.
I will be posting another new video on my Youtube channel tomorrow and if you haven't already seen it, you should go back a few posts and watch the last one. I can tell you now, you will laugh your socks off.
I hope you have all had a really good week.

T-shirt - Orange circle
Leggings - Ebay

First off, I'm really sorry about the quality of this photo. My camera battery was well and truly dead this morning.
This right here is my first OOTD in a very long time. I did initially want to start doing them a few months back, but my self confidence just wasn't what I wanted it to be, so I kept on putting it off.
I've been posting a couple on instagram (find me @whenflowersfall) here and there to just to get a feel for it, and I finally feel like I am happy enough with myself to start posting on the old bloggity.
A few months back you wouldn't have seen me dead in these types of bold, in you face kind of clothes. I would have been in a pair of jeans and a hoody. Boring, right? The way I was dressing was really influenced by the way I was feeling, so as you can probably tell from todays outfit. I'm feeling a whole lot stronger on the depression side of life.
I am loving anything black at the moment and I'm currently in the process of dying some more of my old clothes black, let me tell you, black dye is sooooo messy!
If you want to see more OOTD's from me then please let me know. I love doing them and I've been loving getting all creative with my wardrobe recently.
I may even feature some of my own DIY'd stuff in the next one.
