Oh, boy does it feel good to be back.
These past couple of weeks have been a great break, but I am so ready to get my head back in the game. I have new ideas, a set schedule to get things done and time to enjoy every single part of it again.
Just what I needed.

Today's post is just a quick hello. Liam is off work, sick, meaning that time is not something I have today. Things like this are bound to come up once in a while, but him being home also means that I do get a quick moment to do this.

Barry M Black Crackle Polish
Barry M Black Nail Paint

For this week's nail look I wanted to try something new.
Why I hadn't tried this before, I don't know. It didn't quite turn out like I thought it would, and I probably won't be doing it again.
I decided to layer a matte black crackle polish on top of a glossy black polish. Originally I loved the textured look it gave (the photo doesn't do it justice at all, apparently it was really difficult to photograph,) but unfortunately as this week has gone on, the matte finish to the crackle polish has gone and has become quite glossy itself. The texture is still there but not like it was a few days ago.

Find me on

Hi, you beauties!
I feel like I've done a lot of these kinds of posts recently, so I am sorry if you're fed up of seeing my dream wardrobe over and over. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only poor girl lusting over items of clothing she knows she'll never be able to afford.

The online store that has my heart this week is www.shopwasteland.com
Carrying brands such as UNIF and Jeffrey Campbell, I fell in love at an instant. Whereas the wardrobe I am dealing with at the moment is drab and boring, created in my months of depression, my favourite items from Wasteland are different and exciting. They totally encapture everything I want from my wardrobe re-vamp.
Unfortunately, I think I can only dream of having such amazingness on my body. (Yes, that sounded a little creepy.)

If you like what you see in the above pictures, make sure to go check out the store for yourself. I promise, you'll be wanting as much as I do by the time you're done.

Wow, so this is a post that I had quite obviously forgotten and it was sitting in my drafts folder waiting to be finished.
The MUA Intense colour eyeliners are amazing. At the moment I only have the above two colours, but I plan on getting a few of the other soon.
These eyeliner pencils are incredibly soft, have amazing pigmentation and great longevity. Also another bonus I have found is that they are so easy to sharpen. Don't you just hate it when you have to fight with a pencil to get it sharp again. I sure do.
These eyeliners are in the basic range and sell for £1 each. You can either purchase them at Superdrug or on their online store. They come in an array of colours such as orange and turquoise.

When I received this mascara as a sample in my March Glossybox, I have to admit the first thing I though was 'damn, it's not the burberry lipstick', but after applying the product and giving it a chance, it really impressed me.
The curled brush makes it very easy to apply. I don't usually curl my lashes, so to find that this mascara not only gives tons of volume, it also gives amazing lift and I would say unless you have ridiculously straight lashes, curling is not entirely necessary.
The sample I received is 2ml in size, whereas a full size product is 6.5ml and can be purchased for £21.

To the dark side...

I feel like it's been a good while since I last wore a dark eye. I also tried out new mascara today, so keep your eyes peeled for a review coming up this week!
