My one true love, my holy grail product, I couldn't live without you.

Of course, I picked this up in hopes that I would love it as much as I do the other Maybelline Colour Tattoos. I had intended on using it as a shadow base, but when I heard from Khila Miss Budget Beauty that it made a great eyebrow product, I had to give it a go.

The creamy consistency makes it a dream to apply. You can be as slap happy, or as precise as you like; and as soft or heavy handed as you like. Being a taupe, this is the ideal product for anyone struggling to find something that isn't warm toned. We all know that even some of the ashier products on the market can come across looking red. Because this is so workable, I would say that this is a fab product for even the blondest of ladies, just use a light hand.

Being a colour tattoo, this wears insanely well. Once it's set, there's no smudging, even on the warmest days. I sometimes find that this is the hardest product to remove at the end of the day, which just goes to show how well it lasts.

I would recommend this to anyone and I will repurchase it until Maybelline decide to discontinue it. (Please don't even discontinue it!) My brows would never look the same.

monday makeup, whenflowersfall, ford, face of the day, gradient liner, eyeliner, eyebrows,

Happy Monday lovelies!
I've had to stay in today as the roofer was due to come around yet again. It's taken me up to now to even be able to sit down at my desk for a good period of time.

For today's face I wanted to go with something simple, but eye-catching. I realised I hadn't done something with blue for quiet a while, so I dug out pretty much every blue eye product I own and this was the result. I really love the outcome and would even wear it without the eyeshadow along my lower lash line. It's really easy to do but looks like you put in a little more effort. Great for if you don't have a huge amount of time!

This Saturday saw the launch of Benefit's newest product, Fine One One
Fine One One is a sheer trio, created to revive dull cheeks and lips in seconds.

The twist up stick has three shades, pink champagne, sheer watermelon and soft coral. They can be used in several different ways to create many different looks. For example,
- Sweep up the cheeks and blend for a natural glow.
- Twist on the apple of your cheek and then zig zag up your cheek bone and blend for a more daring, structured look.
- Glide over your lips to give them a pop of sheer colour, and don't forget to use the pink champagne on your cupids bow to create the perfect pout.

The thing to remember, is to not be scared of how bright this product looks. I promise you, it isn't as scary on the skin.
The look I am wearing in the above photo was created using both Fine One One, using the twist and zigzag motion, and the Go TropiCoral kit. (Photo taken after getting stuck in the rain.)
I'd love to see how it works on my natural skin tone.

I adore this new product, and it's now sitting happily at the top of my wishlist.

Throughout the evening we were treated to a view at some of the other wonderful Benefit products, including the amazing They're Real Mascara. Yep, it's love right there. I need that mascara in my life. In the before and after photo above, believe it or not, the mascara was applied on top of what I was already wearing, and it still had an amazing effect on my lashes.

Some of us also had our eyebrows mapped, which for me was a totally new experience. Looking at the photos, it's such a difference that I think I need to warm to it, but I do like the look of the more structured brow.

As well as being surrounded by beautiful products, it was also a great opportunity to meet some new ladies and enjoy the wonderful cupcakes and sweets that had been laid out for us.
Sorry to any of the girlies I didn't get a chance to chat to, if you're reading this post, please leave your link in the comments, and thanks to Kirsty who arranged the whole thing. I enjoyed it so much.
