theWFFloveyourbodyproject, fitness, health, lifestyle, weightloss, confidence, self confidence,

Ok, ok. So I have been really letting myself slip on this recently; and we are in the seventh month of this year already!!
I admit, I haven't really been trying to lose weight, but I also haven't felt overly insecure about my body recently either. That is a huge step in the right direction on this journey to body confidence.

For the past few updates, I've really gone on about losing weight; but I've realised this month that it's so much more than that. Confidence doesn't come from dropping a few pounds alone.
So, in a bid to start feeling more like myself recently, I've dyed my hair pink and gotten in touch with a tattoo artist. These are things I've been wanting to do again for a very long time, but just kept putting off. I'm currently waiting for some designs to drop into my inbox, and then hopefully I'll be getting all booked in for a couple of new pieces to make a start on my sleeve.

Wardrobe is another thing I am slowly working on. I almost always talk about how I'm still wearing the same clothes I wore throughout my pregnancy, and that is slowly but surely changing. I've bought a fair few new pieces recently, and I'm on the verge of having a huge wardrobe clear out. I just want to make sure that I'm not doing to leave myself with not a lot to wear by doing it.
So with that being said, weight loss is still a big factor in this project. As much as I haven't felt overly self conscious recently, I also haven't lost any weight. I'm still hovering around the same 206lbs point that I was at in January.
In a bid to kick start the weight loss again, I have downloaded the Value diary app. It's 'not in connection with any weight loss plan', but it's basically the Weight Watchers ProPoints system. I'm using this along side MyFitnessPal and hoping to see some progress soon.

Exercise wise, I've lost my mojo. Until yesterday, when I felt a huge burst of inspiration. I've set myself a goal of cycling 10km five times a week, and doing some arm weights where ever I feel like I can squeeze some in. I'm definitely not the biggest lover of exercise, but I do know that I always feel incredibly good after I've completed a workout.

I think I'll leave the update at that for now. Hopefully next month I can tell you that I've lost some pounds and booked in for some new skin art.
If you do want to follow me on this journey more closely, you can follow my health and fitness instagram account - @wffloveyourbodyproject.
It's mostly a food diary, but I really want to start incorporating more of what this project is all about into it.

Self confidence is what counts.

Oh, February. You really weren't great, were you.
This past month has not been kind to us,  I'm not going to lie to you guys. If you follow me on any kind of social media, then you will probably know the stress we went through throughout February.

Because of this, I haven't actually lost any weight at this point. Actually, that's a fib. I did manage to drop a couple of pounds at the beginning of the month, but have since put those back on through emotional eating.  Cake seemed to be my best friend this past month and I am glad to say that I am now in the right mindset to let it go again.

Confidence wise, I don't feel like I have been so down about myself recently. I've had very low moods, but I think because of all the drama with the car/money/dog etc, I haven't even thought about the way I look. Which can only be a good thing. I'm learning that it isn't that important and that even if I do feel a little frumpy one day, it's ok.
One thing I have noticed though, is how much of an effect breastfeeding has had on my chest. I purchased a couple of new bras, and I'm down a cup size compared to my pre-pregnancy size. Whomp whomp. I mean, it could actually be down to the fact that I've lost quite a bit of weight too, but I honestly feel like breastfeeding played a big part. I have certainly thought about the pro's and con's of getting a boob job to them looking young again, that's for sure.

Exercise is another thing I really wanted to focus on, but didn't. In the past few days, I have made an effort to go out with the dog, and I think that may be the right way to go. A no pressure, half an hour dog walk will do for now. If I can keep this up throughout March, then I will up my game a little for April.

I don't know if I am brave enough yet to share my 'before' photos with you guys, but I'm hoping I will have the balls next month.
It is my birthday on the 21st, so I'm sure I will induldge a little on the day, but my goal for this month is to get down to the 200lb mark. I've got my work cut out and 8lbs to drop, but I feel like I can give it a real good go now. (She says, sipping on a glass of wine.)

Don't forget you can join this project and do it with me. Use the hashtag #theWFFloveyourbodyproject on twitter or instagram, and be sure to tag me in the post also. You can follow me on both @whenflowersfall.

Hello, you beautiful people.

It's been a few days since I last posted, purely due to the fact that I've had a couple of pretty tough days. I forgot to take my pill and it all kind of went down hill from there. Haha. All is good now though. I used the time to think about the things I was unhappy with, and how I can start to get back to being a generally happy person.
A lot of my issues come from my pants lack of confidence. I'm totally aware that sometimes I can be completely irrational and really hard on myself. Believe me, Liam tells me enough.

From this point on, I'm going to try and stop being so hard on myself. I'm going to work on the things I always seem to be complaining about, and change the way I feel.

Me

Excuse the posy-ness of these photos. They were taken four years ago after a huge relationship break-up, about six months before I met Liam.
Weight is a big issue for me, as you already know. Preferably, this is what I'd like to get back to. It's one of those photos that I always look at and start to wonder how I ever got to where I am now.
Friday Fitday will return next week. If I'm entirely honest, I've not been trying since LFW, and although I've only gained a pound or two since then, I'd rather lose them again.
One thing I am proud of, is the fact that I haven't eaten red meat for over a month now. :)
At least I can stick to one thing.

My hair is another thing I've been super self conscious about recently. Being something I'm normally known for, I feel like it's totally nothing special right now. I've ummed and ahhh-ed for days and I can't decide on a trim, a chop to a bob or to get extensions. I think I'm leaning towards the extensions at the moment because I love the photos above.
I think I want a full fringe cut in too. Miss Lovato has inspired me!

The last thing I need is a revamp of wardrobe. I'm going to work on it til Xmas and hopefully I can finally feel confident in the clothes that I wear. I'm not going to go on about this little issue too much because it's something I seem to post about a lot.

If you have any suggestions of salons in the Leeds-ish area, shops or websites. Leave me a comment down below. Also, I feel super cheeky, but if you have a brand etc and would like to work with me throughout this journey, then please email me at the address in my sidebar.
My aim is to be happy with who I am by Xmas and I will make it happen. :)

Have you ever felt the need to re-invent who you are?
