Barry M - Countess  £3.99

Barry M is my ultimate favourite nail polish brand and this post wouldn't be about any other.
I purchased this particular polish quite a while back, and not only is it my favourite for this time of year, I actually think it may be one of my holy grail polishes.
The deep burgundy base colour is perfect for the Autumn season, and the gold and orange glitter within it just scream halloween to me.
As this is a textured polish, it may not be for every one. I, myself find these to be the best wearing polishes around. On my nails, a regular glossy polish can start to chip within a couple of days. These on the other hand can last up to a week without any signs of wear.

I can guarantee that this will be a regular feature on my nails for the next few months.
For only £3.99, why not go pick it up yourself. You won't regret it.
What's your favourite polish for this Autumn?

Have you ever seen such beauty in your whole entire life?
The new Spring/Summer range from Zoya is just outstanding, and I have a couple of the new shades here for you to drool over.
The new 'Tickled' and 'Bubbly' range consist of twelve gorgeous shades, all of which are perfect for any Summer event. The Tickled collection has six super vibrant, yet intensely full coverage shades, which will leave you with a perfect creamy finish. The Bubbly collection on the other hand is just as bright, but each of the six shades are jam packed with shimmering holographic glitters.

In addition to these, Zoya have released three new shades in their Pixie Dust range. Shades 'Ginni', 'Bar' and 'Arlo' are packed with the usual pixie dust shimmer and leave you with the most beautiful textured finish.

Zoya Bubbly in 'Muse' (£11) is now I think one of my all time favourite polishes. This shade has tons of tiny, holographic glitter pieces suspended in the most perfect summer blue. It's a mermaid's tail on your nails; and the gorgeous green and blue glitter almost create a duo-chrome effect and looks stunning in any light. If you want a slight sparkle to your nails, just apply one coat and go; but if you're like me and want a full on glitter 'splosion, then just add one more coat for some solid glitter loving.
The finish of this polish is smooth, shiny and hardwearing. Usually I chip my polish whilst writing my posts on an evening, but this one hasn't budged.

Zoya Magical Pixie Dust in 'Ginni' (£11) is again, stunning. As a lover of textured polishes, how could I not love this one too. Much like 'Muse' above, 'Ginni' is full of glitter. Beautiful pink glitter in a range of shades and sizes. Perfectly opaque in just two coats, the finish of this polish is fabulously textured, almost matte, and with the addition of the glitter these polishes make for the perfect sparkly addition to any outfit.

I have to admit something now. I have never tried a Zoya polish before these. Yes, I know, bad beauty blogger; but believe you me, I have been drawn in by their magnificence and I can't see myself wanting to purchase any other brand for a while.
The shade range is spot on, they apply easily and dry super fast; and they are free from all of the nail polish baddies, aren't tested on animals and are 100% organic.
What's not to love?

Now where did I put my purse...

Hey beauties,

This week is Smooch week.
I was very, very kindly sent a bundle of products to try, so I figured I would dedicate a week to reviewing said products.
I have given them a good test and I feel this week may come in handy, if you do ever fancy purchasing a few new items.

As well as receiving some fabulous products to try out, I was also very lucky to be sent a couple of beautiful nail polishes!

The shades I received are Candy Coated* , an amazingly beautiful hot pink, and Perfect Parfait*, a coral-ly toned orange. Both shades of which I hadn't already got in my collection.
The polishes retail for £6.50 and follow the matte packaging design.

I've played around with these during the past week. For a good opaque nail, I found I had to apply three coats, which I wouldn't say is unusual.
Both shades have worn well and lasted without chipping for three days.

I very much like these polishes and I would love to pick up a few more shades. Aren't these ones just perfect for the Summer!

If you want to see the large array of colours available, check out the Smooch Cosmetics website.

beautywishlist

It's been a little while since I last did a wishlist post, and seeing as I have made a few pennies today, I figured, why not do one.

Believe me, these pennies are burning a lovely big hole in my pocket, but due to my car tax being due next month, these items will just have to stay on my wishlist a little longer.

La Roche-Posay Micellar Solution - I recently saw Rachel 'Notes from my closet' talk about this product in a recent video, and I have to admit, she completely sold it to me. I'm coming to the end of my trusty cleanser and I think it may be time to try something new. I've heard so many good things about La roche-posay products recently, that now I just can't stop browsing online.

Botanics Face Brush - Another blogger/youtuber is the reason I now want this. Zoe (Zoella) recently showed in a haul that she had bought this. I've always been one to use a face cloth when removing my make up in the evening, but recently I've been craving for a clarisonic, or something of that sort. I just can't talk myself into spending that kind of money on something I wash my face with. So this is a great alternative. Yes it's manual and you have to do some of the work, but it pretty much works the same way.

Barry M Gelly Polishes - If you know me, then you will know that I love my Barry M nail polishes. So far, I only have one colour from the Gelly range, and I really think it's time to start adding some more Spring/Summery colours to my collection. (Getting too ahead of myself?) At the moment I'm lusting after Grapefruit, Pickly Pear and Blueberry. (L-R)

Kate Moss Lipsticks - Another range that I'm currently obsessed with, is the Kate Moss Rimmel lipsticks. I currently have four other colours and as with the nail polishes, I'm dying to pick up a few more shades. Right now, I'm wanting matte shade Beige and also shade 20.

Maybelline 24hr Colour Tattoos - The last product I'd like to expand my collection of is the best (in my opinion) eyeshadow bases/cream eyeshadows of last year. Permanent Taupe is one of those shades that everyone talks about, I just haven't come across it in a store yet. Endless Purple is just a gorgeous colour and I think it would be perfect for the Summer.

As much as I love all of the snow that we're having at the moment, I think I'm over the Winter trends, make -up wise. I'm definitely ready for some bright girly colours and clear skin.

What are you lusting over at the moment?

PicturesTop L to R - Bahama Mama, Luxedo (the photo saved totally different to the one on site??), Fishnet Stockings , Licorice, Midnight Cami

This winter I'm craving some new polishes to add to my collection. I seem to own a lot of summery, girly shades, but not so many that are suitable for the Winter trends.

At the moment I am adoring anything that's dark berry coloured or nude. I also noticed that I have barely any greens or blues in my collection and I think the new Barry M Gelly shades are perfect!

Essie and Barry M are my two favourite polish brands. Even though the price difference between the two are quite large per bottle, I feel the quality is equally as good! I'm sure if I was to look around some more, I would find several other polishes I would want, but I figured I would stick to what I know.

Hopefully I can add a few of these in the next couple of months. My hands are just dying for some dark, vampy tips!

Hi my loves,
This is a super quick review of a nail polish I recently purchased from MeMeMe. The name of the shade is Pensive and it's the most gorgeous, bright duck egg blue.
I purchased it because I had nothing like this in my collection and it's now my all time favourite!
The swatch above is only one coat, so really you only need two coats for complete opacity.
The brush is a good size and application is easy.
I wore this polish underneath Deborah Lippmann 'Glitter in the air' this week and it looked amazing! Together with 'GITA', this polish lasted a good 4 days without chipping.
MeMeMe polishes usually sell for £4.50, but currently there is a pound off online.
You can find pensive and all of the other catwalk shades here
