Just one 'discovery' this week.
As I've been thinking about our wedding, which I must add we haven't even booked or started planning for yet, I've fallen completely in love with this weeks pick.

Grace Loves Lace

Grace loves lace is an Australian brand that specialise in unique, absolutely stunning bohemian bridal dresses. Made from the finest french lace and silk, all of their dresses are designed and made in house at their studios.

Not only are their dresses insanely beautiful, but the imagery used on their instagram page is divine. I could happily spend hours scrolling through their feed, dreaming of my perfect bohemian wedding.

And another bonus point, they cater for women of all shapes and sizes. Which gets a mahooooosive thumbs up from me.

This year we have Liam's works Christmas do to attend. We've known about it for weeks and weeks now, but only upon looking at the menu that got sent out did I realise that it's actually a black tie event.

I've been looking for a dress ever since, but unfortunately not only do I have the fun of finding a dress flattering to my chunky butt, I also have the challenge of finding something that will cater for my almost 18 week baby belly. Something not so easily done seeing as I really haven't a clue how big I'll be by then.
I'm currently 13 weeks and my belly is definitely growing, so who knows. Can someone look into the future for me?

I've picked out the six above from various maternity sections, but I'm still undecided. I really want to be comfortable, so I looked with that in mind, rather than being so focused on the black tie theme. I did also think about getting a non-maternity dress but just in a bigger size, but I really haven't a clue as to how that would work out. I also don't want to spend a fortune because I really don't know when I'd wear it again.

So let me know your favourite in the comments below. Or if you have another suggestion, that would be greatly appreciated too.
Hopefully I can decide soon!

DRESS - Charity Shop (Brand new with tag - F&F)
JACKET - Blog Sale (Matalan)
BOOTS - c/o SpyLoveBuy
BAG - Zara

Hey, lovelies!

I'm officially back from my little Christmas break and I felt like sharing an outfit I wore on Boxing day with you.
Liam's family and I went out to the local Indian restaurant in the evening for an amazing meal. Funnily enough though, only one out of the five out us ate an Indian dish.
We also took part in the pub quiz that we didn't know was taking part, but somehow we ended up winning! The prize was a bottle of whiskey, so it's safe to say that Liam's dad was pretty chuffed.
I'm sorry about the quality of these photos. Liam took them on my phone for me as I didn't actually take my camera with me.

Are you all looking forward to NYE?

Hi lovelies,
With Christmas coming up, not only celebrating my 1st with Liam in our own home, but this year will also be our 1st year anniversary of being engaged. Yes, he surprised me last year and proposed on Christmas day. I had no clue! There were no presents left and he was trying to get me to search for it, because it was apparently under the tree, but me being the stubborn person I am, I refused. I completely ruined it! He was planning on kneeling down as soon as I got up to look under the tree, but because I wouldn't, he just pulled the box out of his pocket and asked me there and then. His parents knew all about it and had a bottle of champagne and cards ready for when I said yes.
A year later, not only have we moved out of his parents house, but we have moved 100 miles away from anyone we know, we have our own flat and are very much still in love. We'll have been together 3 years in July and I honestly can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him.
We plan on getting married on the 13th July 2014, on our 5th anniversary of being together. I've been scouring the web ever since we got engaged and I thought I'd share some of the inspirational pictures I have found for my perfect dream wedding!

I hope I haven't bored you all with this post, it's just a very special time of year for me. As you can see from the pictures, the colour theme will be a very light pink. I would like a classic, vintage-y style dress, white of course, but I want to wear pink shoes. My bridesmaids have requested dresses with some form of straps, but I am having trouble finding something summery, floaty and full length. Although, a couple of girls would like shorter dresses. I'd like my cake to be simple and flowers to be eye-catching. The last picture is an idea for the reception. I know that there'll be a lot of children attending, so I'd like to have a pick and mix table, glass bowls filled with old school penny sweets and cups to fill.

If you guys can think of any nice ideas, I'm always open for suggestions! Just shoot me a message!

Knitted Headband - Primark
Long Sleeved Dress - French Connection
Tights - F&F

We have family visiting today, so I thought I'd make an effort. Liam says I look like a lady from a black and white movie because I'm wearing this headband, but I kinda of like that. If we go out at all I will be wearing my wedge lace up boots, because more than likely, I will have to drive. The fam are coming up in a van with our new leather sofa and chair and if any of you watched my house tour video, you would have heard me say that we were in much need of a new sofa, well that same night I got a phone call about one! Talk about fate!

Have a good Saturday!!

Hi lovelies,
so does anyone else have their favourite clothes that they always want to wear? Mine seem to change each month, so I thought I'd share mine with you. With it being cold and wintery, I would probably be silly to wear some of this stuff, so it's not necessarily stuff I am wearing right now, just stuff I'd like to wear.

What are your wardrobe obsessions at the moment?

Yes, you heard right! A top trend this winter is fetish, but not the scary whips and chains kind of fetish, oh no, this trend is definitely all about pumping up the sexy, but in more of a classic way. Expect to see leather pencil skirts, thigh high boots and lots of black. Focus on the texture of your outfit, complement cold, smooth leather with a soft touch me jumper, or even clash the demure look of black lace with a piece of spiky jewellery.

This trend isn't for the faint hearted, but is certainly an easy look to put together. Just think black and texture and you're sorted!

With winter rearing it's ugly head more every day, most people jump at the chance to fill their wardrobes with chunky knits, wooly scarves and winter boots, but this season we have seen a big come back for velvet. With it's luxe look and soft to the touch qualities, it's make any item a perfect winter staple.
This winter, Topshop has a massive collection of velvet items for sale, from simple ballet pumps, to fetish style corset tops. Personally, I am in love with the red dress you can see in the center (above). Top colour picks this season are deep reds, royal blues and jewel tones. There's something for everybody.

What do you guys think of velvet this winter?
