Hey beauties, 

This week is Smooch week. 

I was very, very kindly sent a bundle of products to try, so I figured I would dedicate a week to reviewing said products. 

I have given them a good test and I feel this week may come in handy, if you do ever fancy purchasing a few new items.

The Persian Princess lipgloss* is a simple twist and apply product. 

The product itself has a brush applicator, which if I'm entirely honest, isn't my favourite, but that may just be personal preference.
As with most Smooch Cosmetics packaging, it is black and simple, with the adorable lace detailing.

The lipgloss is a very pretty dark nude shade with a slight shimmer. I would say it looks closer to the real colour in the photos above, rather than those on the website.

On first use it can take a little work to get the product to actually appear, but after that, one simple twist and it's very easy. 

Applied to the lips, the product is more sheer, but still gives enough colour to be worn alone. 

As with many lip glosses, this one is a little sticky. Much noted by my better half when he stole a kiss the other day. Personally, I don't mind too much as I kind of expect it when wearing a lip gloss anyway. 

I may not be a huge fan of this type of applicator, but I haven't yet found an issue with the brush clogging or becoming solid. It's a very handy lip product to have if you just need to throw something in your handbag.

A few weeks ago, I received a tweet from The Body Shop asking if I would like to try out a couple of their veggie friendly products. At the time I wasn't eating meat and I felt it was an ideal time to try something new. 

Their random act of kindness was part of #TBSGiveJoy, as something I hadn't heard of before, I did a little investigating and it seems The Body Shop will pick people to offer some goodies too. Another girl I spotted was offered some of their chocolate products to try. 

After giving them my address, a few days later I signed for a package including the following products.

The carrot moisture cream is exactly that. The 50 ml tub is available to buy for £4, but is currently out of stock online. 

This cream is amazing. I thought the scent would be a little odd, being carrot, but it smells really pleasant.

The cream itself is slightly more thick than the moisturiser I usually reach for, but that being said, it actually sinks into the skin a lot quicker.

Since using this, my skin hasn't at all felt dry. I tend to reach for this now, even when I don't really need it. It kind of feels like a treat when applying it. 

I feel this tub is going to last a while, but as soon as it is all gone, I will most certainly be purchasing it.

This is a product I most definitely wouldn't have chosen for myself. In all honesty, I'm not a big lipgloss fan.

I tried this out and I'm in love with it. Something that always puts me off lipgloss is the stickiness, but this isn't sticky at all. It smells and tastes amazing, and gives amazing shine. 

The tube gives you a good 12ml of product and is easy to apply. 

The new range of lipglosses come in a huge variety of flavours. There's everything from strawberry and peach, to cocoa and lychee. 

I love this product so much, that I am now dying to try out some of the others in the range.

I received this Cargo Cosmetics lip gloss in the December Glossybox, a full size gloss retails for £10.00 and is available at Cargocosmetics.com. 

This sample is their new formula, which gives a high shine and isn't sticky, which I love in lip glosses. The shade I received was Tokyo which is a very pretty pink, it gives a very good colour pay off and wears ridiculously well.

If you received any of the other shades in your Glossyboxes, please let me know what they were like. I'd be really interested to see them!

Hi Lovelies!

    Amongst my little MUA haul the other day were these two amazing shades from the Out There lip glosses by MUA. I don't think I have ever liked a lip gloss more than I love these! I'm not normally a lip gloss person at all, I'm definitely a hater of 'sticky lip syndrome'. These on the other hand are smooth and don't leave you feeling sticky lipped at all. Just as the 'out there' part of the name suggests, they really do give you that plumping sensation. I wouldn't say it felt like what I am used to from a plumping lip gloss, which is usually a minty tingling feeling, but with these I found it was more of a burning sensation, warm but not too much that it was unbearable. 

   The two colours I purchased were Sienna and Pin Up Pink. I love the fact that these products actually have names, whereas most MUA products are only numbered. The glosses are just as highly pigmented as one another and the formula is easy to apply and rather long wearing. I don't think I can say much more about these glosses but I am so impressed with them, I most certainly am going to go out buy the other shades in the collection.
