So this was the week that I found out I was pregnant. It seemed like such a slow process, but I think deep down, even before the positive test, I knew.
For roughly a week before my missed period, I was tired and worn out. I seemed to be getting lots of odd moments of nausea. Just the smallest things turned my stomach. On top of that, I was pigging out like craaazyy. I wanted to contantly graze on junk food.
I missed my period on the 11th September and took my first test on  the 12th. It was negative. Or atleast I couldn't see anything. The day after, I took another test and saw a shadow of something. I decided to find a forum and get opinions of others. Liam had already gone to work, and even when he did see it, he was adamant that there was nothing there. That first day on the forum taught me so much. Several women said that they could too see the line and suggest a 'tweak'. So I went ahead and had a play with the image.
I could definitely see something.

The next day I took the same kind of test and got the same kind of result, although I think this time it was a little darker becasue Liam admitted he could see something, but didn't think it was a positive.
On the Saturday I picked up an early response. Man, tests can get pricey!
Sunday morning, I took that test and waited. The test said that most result show up within 5 minutes, but can take up to 15 minutes to show, so if you do get something within that time frame, then it's probably positive.
It was positive.

At this point we didn't want to get too excited/nervous. So waited yet another day.
Monday morning I took a test strip, like the first. These one's have a lower sensitivity to hcg so if I was definitely pregnant, it would hopefully show by now.
It did.

It seems tests photograph really light, but in real life it looks quite a bit darker. I did a little tweak just so it was clear. Image and video hosting by TinyPic

So this is where I am now. It's Tuesday, and I messed up a clearblue digi this morning. I was so nervous that I didn't read the instructions and didn't do it properly. Poop. That's £7.50 down the drain and still no certain answer.
We're pretty sure we are having a baby, but it would be nice to see the word 'pregant' on a test, rather that a line of dye. All I've felt so far in anxious, and tired. I'm still incredibly tired.
I don't feel like I want to pig out so much right now, but my stomach is ridiculously bloated.
Hopefully, we can pop to the shop tonight and pick up another digi; and I'll do it right this time.

Sorry this post has been really long winded. My updates as of now won't be so long, but I just wanted to share it all with you guys.
I'm so excited for this new chapter of our lives and I cannot wait to press publish on this post!

Well, halllooo there!

Any who, you know last week I said I would be on day 7 of the shred by now? Ummmm.....yeah...fail! I totally forgot how bad my back gets when I actually start exercising, so although I haven't given up, I have taken a few days off to get some proper sleep and rest my back. I'm not too sure what it actually is, I think it may be an old work injury flaring up again, or it may even be a trapped nerve. Either way, it's bloody painful.
I am doing my next shred tomorrow, which will be day five.

So far I feel good, the shred has definitely felt easier each day I've done it. More hurting, more sweating, but certainly less out of breath. If all is well, I hope to complete a full week this week. I've discovered that it's amazingly difficult to do with a nine week old puppy in the room though. Haha. Picture Bug sitting on my stomach or chewing my hair/face whilst trying to do the abs section.

I haven't lost any weight yet, neither have I lost anything inch wise, but I am beginning to feel less bloated and frumpy. I know it's sad, but I always get a little excited when I can see the beginnings of collar bones. I feel way more feminine.

I imagine you're wondering what my measurements are by now, so without further a do, these are my beginning stats.

Arms - 14" (36cm)
Chest - 41" (104cm)
Waist - 36" (91.5cm)
Hips/Bum - 48" (122cm) Yup, I gots a big toosh.
Thighs - 27.5" (70.5cm)

I've decided not to be so hung up on the numbers on the scale, but more on the the numbers above. As the picture below says, it's not always weightloss that makes you smaller.

Hopefully by next week I can give you more of a progress update.
If you missed my announcement on Twitter earlier this week, you can now follow me on My Fitness Pal at Whenflowersfall. There you will be able to keep up with me daily and check in on my food diaries too. If you do add me and you see I haven't filled in my dairy for the day, please yell at me because I keep on forgetting!!

I hope you are all doing well with your goals! Make sure you keep me updated!!

Bluetooth Folder8

Within the bag of goodies we received at the #leedsbloggermeetup2012 was what I thought was a discount code for a personal planner from www.personal-planner.co.uk.
What it really was, was a gift code for a free one within the value of £25-£33!
Of course I jumped at it and went to the website straight away.
To begin you get to decide from a planner or a notebook. I chose a notebook because I tend to scribble down a lot of junk! You then choose your size and gets a designing.
Now, due to my utter excitement, I didn't realise that you can actually upload you own images to use. I, on the other hand, used one of their pre-set designs. Which, to be fair, I like just as much.
Once you have designed your front, you then move onto the inside. There is a page to add any personal details, so of course I added my blog/youtube info. Then, moving on, you can choose everything from the kind of paper, to the colour the paper is.
With your planner you receive a little plastic wallet and a ruler also.

It's been a couple of weeks and I received my planner first thing this morning. I am incredibly impressed with how well the planner/notebook is put together. It's really sturdy and you get a whole ton of pages.
I'm so excited to finally have somewhere I can organise all my bloggy bits.
I chose the large notebook and it's still a nice size and will fit in my bag for when I travel.
The ruler makes a handy page marker and the plastic sleeve will come in good use to keep PR info I still need to read through/use.

This notebook will last me a super long time, but when I do fill this one up, I will be sure to order again from Personal Planner.
If you are in need of a planner yourself, I would most certainly recommend you check these guys out!

You can create you own here.

13

Happy Sunday, my loves!

Sorry I've been a little MIA for the past couple of days. We finally got some sunshine and I felt the need to take a little time out and make the most of it.

A quick Friday Fitday update, just because I missed it. I only managed to walk seven miles this week due to the fact that my trainers have created rather large holes in the back of my heels. But, my last walk wasn't far off 5 miles, which as you all know, is my daily walk goal so I'm chuffed with that.

The last few days I've spent a lot of time with my girls, lying in the sun, going to the park and lying in the sun. Yep, told you I hadn't really done much this week. Haha.

The photo of the rainbow above is actually something I saw as I was laying on the grass, the rainbow was right across the sky, in the sky, not like you would normally them. I can only guess that it was raining way up there in the clouds. It was possibly the most beautiful thing I've seen in a while.

I hope you all have had a great week, how many of you will be tuning in to watch the Spice Girls perform in the closing ceremony of the Olympics tonight?

Hey lovelies,
So most of you who read my blog would have already seen the 'what's in my make-up bag' post, so I thought I'd do another for my handbag.
Bag from New Look - £16
(I have added the silver bow, as the strap broke within the first 3 days of me having the bag.)

1. My Juicy Couture Purse
2. Umbrella
3. Ipod Classic
4. My diary
5. Bargain sunglasses from Primark
6. Car and house keys
7. CKin2U perfume
8. Passport
9. Deodorant

Usually, along with this stuff, my bag is filled with old receipts and random food wrappers. I'm a bit of a skank when it comes to cleaning out the junk from my handbag, it doesn't happen very often. I know I shouldn't carry my passport around with me too, but I know I'd lose it if I put it somewhere 'safe' at home.

What do you guys think is a necessity for every girls handbag? Shoot me a comment below! : )
