Pictures2

This poor box has been sitting unopened on my desk for over a week now. The contents are a nice welcome in comparison to the last couple of boxes we have received.
I think it's safe to say that I will use every single one of these items.

Inside this November box -

Elegant Touch Rapid Dry for Nails
A full size product which usually retails at £3. This is definitely something that will always come in handy.

Yves Rocher Chocolate Orange Hand Cream
Another full size product, usually retailing at £1.95. I love the scent and a hand cream like this will be used on a daily basis in these Winter months.

B. Quick One Coat Profession Finish Nail Polish
Not a colour I would personally choose for myself, but I like the fact that it is one coat. Hopefully it lives up to it's name. This usually sells for £4.99.

Emite Micronized Eyeshadow
Not my favourite item from this box and I really don't think it's as great at the £16.80 price tag, but for a simple matte black eyeshadow it's ok. Nothing breathtaking.

Vichy Idealia Life Serum
I have tried a sample of this before and loved it, so I really think I'm going to use all of these. A full 30ml will usually set you back £29.50.

So little did I know that I had actually forgotten to do this last week, hence the rather large post today!
I may have taken tons of photos in the past two weeks, but I can't really say that I have done an awful lot. This week I have been spending a lot of time in the sun, wearing no make-up and getting bitten by bugs. I think I must have super tasty blood!
I've also spent a lot of time with friends this week, which has been great. I've got one of my best friends coming to visit today so I've been running round the house like a mad person trying to clean.
So, with that being said, I am going to go back to my cleaning, get my washing done and I may even go and sit in the sun some more!
Keep you eyes peeled on my Youtube channel, I'm going to try and persuade Leanne to film a tutorial with me. that should be fun. :)

Just a super quick post to congratulate Glossybox on their first year and here's to another year of great boxes and brilliant products!
I received my 1st anniversary box yesterday afternoon and I was super excited when I opened the box to see a Glossybox balloon and compact mirror!
If you would like to see what I got in my box in detail, watch the video below.

Summer is here!!!
I'm not completely sure how long it will stick around, but I've certainly been making the most of it. As a result of this I have lacked on the old blog posts this week. I can't really say I'm sorry though.
It's strange how much the weather can affect a persons mood, I've been so chirpy the past couple of days and it's been so nice to get my ghostly white legs out a little. The cats on the other hand have been suffering.
Today, I am dedicating my day to WhenFlowersFall and making my house all tidy. The gnats in the beer garden had a feast on the the other night so I really need to stay out of the sun. Soooo itchy!
I am currently waiting on my May Glossybox, but if there is anything else you guys would like to see in the future feel free to leave a comment down below. :)
Hope you are all enjoying this weather as much as me!!

Another Harrods Glossybox goody.
I love, love, love this moisturiser, and unfortunately for me, this is the one product from my box that I didn't want to like. A full size 80g product will set you back £127!! Ouchie!
The sample size I received was 15ml, I've been using it twice a day for 4 days now and I've barely made a a dent in it. This cream goes such a long way! It spreads onto your skin very smoothly and soaks in super quick. If applied in the morning, this moisturiser makes your skin feel amazing throughout the whole day.
I have very dry skin and within the first day of use, my dry patches were gone.
This cream is a miracle product for me, but due to the very high price tag, I'm afraid I won't be purchasing it once I have used up my sample. Sadface.

This is another sample I received in my March Harrods Glossybox.
I was a little disappointed at the size of the sample and I originally thought I would only get one use out of it. When I did get round to trying it I was pleasantly surprised at how far it went. I have used it 3 times and the sachet is finally empty.
I liked the cleanser itself, although I found it to be nothing incredibly special. It removed all of my make-up well, apart from my mascara.
I know this is a very short review, but seeing as I only used it three times, I feel as though I can't really comment on how my skin reacted to it. In the few times I used it, it didn't seem to break me out. Luckily.
A full size 150 ml bottle of this cleanser can set you back £28, but seeing as how far my small sachet went, I imagine it would go a very long way!

When I received this mascara as a sample in my March Glossybox, I have to admit the first thing I though was 'damn, it's not the burberry lipstick', but after applying the product and giving it a chance, it really impressed me.
The curled brush makes it very easy to apply. I don't usually curl my lashes, so to find that this mascara not only gives tons of volume, it also gives amazing lift and I would say unless you have ridiculously straight lashes, curling is not entirely necessary.
The sample I received is 2ml in size, whereas a full size product is 6.5ml and can be purchased for £21.

I received a sample of this perfume in my March edition Glossybox.
I was initially a little disappointed with the size of the vile, 1.5ml didn't seem like it was going to go very far.
The scent on the other hand is amazing! It could very possibly be a new favourite of mine.
Valentino launched this perfume mid September 2011 and was inspired by Rome and Italian flavours. The scent itself is fresh, fruity and floral, with base notes of cedar and amber.  Personally I think this makes the perfect summer day scent, it's very light so unfortunately doesn't last incredibly long on the skin.
The bottle design is cute and would look pretty sitting on the top of any girly girls dresser.
I'm saving what I have of this perfume for a special occasion. This is most definitely going to be on my Christmas list. (Early I know, but it's too late to add it to my birthday list.)
You can purchase this perfume at theperfumeshop here.

As most of you already know, this months Glossybox is a Harrods special edition. The box is very pretty and white, the tissue inside is black and is tidied together with a green Harrods ribbon. The little Glossybox sticker has also been replaced with a Harrods sticker. I think it's the little touches that make it feel special.
On one hand I wasn't tons pleased with what I received this month, I feel as though all the hype made us all think it was going to be incredible. On the other, I was reasonably pleased with a couple of the items I did get.
If you want to see what products I got and my initial views on them, check out the video below!

What did you guys think of the much hyped Harrods box?

Glossybox February Review Week - Day Three
Hi Lovelies!
Last item from this months Glossybox is the Como Shambhala Invigorate shower gel.
If I'm completely honest, I was a little disappointed to see yet another shower gel seeing as I relieved one last month. If I carry on at this rate, I'll have shower gel coming out of my ears!
This gel does smell amazing and I'm pretty sure it'll be great, (I'm yet to try it,) but if I see another in next months box, I may have to rethink my subscription. Hopefully the mystery box next month won't disappoint!

Glossybox February Review Week - Day Four
Hi Lovelies!
This was the one item I was shocked to see inside my Glossybox this month. I do like a bit of false nail action, but I have to admit I thought I'd said goodbye to the days where we would just stick them on, no glue involved.

As much as I thought this, it seemed a shame not to give the a go and see if they really stand up to their claim that they can last up to a week. I followed the instructions and they only took me ten minutes to apply.
You have to use the wipe included to clean your nails, choose the sizes that fit, pull off the plastic tab and apply. Easy peezy, right? Well yes, you could say that, but I came across a little stumbling point, the plastic tabs are actually gridded and if you pull at them too quickly they tear apart leaving you fiddling about to try and get the rest of the tab off of the back of the nail. This was a massive down side for me, and it's even harder when you already have a few fingers done.
I'd have to say, I'm pretty impressed (haha) with the strength of these nails. They don't seem to move as much as I thought, but lasting for a week? I'm not too sure of that. But saying that, as I'm typing this right now the tops of a couple of them are lifting. I'll insert a photo below once I've finished typing.
The only other downside for me is that they really do look fake, I feel like they are too thick and stand too far off of your natural nail.
I am glad I got to try something different from this months Glossybox, but I honestly don't think I'll ever purchase these, especially with the £7.99 price tag. They come in various colours and designs and I would probably recommend these for when you are in a hurry, or maybe even for a night out, but for a week long manicure, these just don't do it for me.
Maybe it's the way I type, but now a couple of them are really loose and I think I'll be taking these off by the end of tonight.
Sorry imPRESS but these are a massive thumbs down for me.

Glossybox February Review Week - Day Three
Hi Lovelies!
Another Glossybox favourite of mine today. Since I subscribed to Glossybox I have not yet received a hair product, until Monday.
This is the Awapuhi wild ginger styling treatment oil from Paul Mitchell. If you watched my unboxing, you probably would have giggled at my poor attempt at saying awapuhi! How do you say it??
This sample is 25ml, whereas a full size bottle is 100ml and sells for .......... I really think 25ml is plenty to keep me going for a little while, so I'm very happy with this sample size.
I have been planning on investing is some kind of hair oil for a while, so this couldn't have come at a better time. The smell of the product is amazing, but if you're not a big ginger fan, this may not be for you. The oil itself is too greasy and leaves your hair feeling soft and shiny.
This may well be another repurchase for me. So far I love it and I don't think my opinion is going to change.

Glossybox February Review Week - Day Two
Hello Lovelies!
Todays review is on the BM Beauty mineral eye shadow in the shade Dusty Road. The sample size I received is 1gram, which is half the size of a full sized product. A full size eye shadow retails for £7.00.
The moment I set eyes on this I fell in love with it.The shade I received is the most beautiful gold with a very slight sparkle and even thought the pigment is fine, it's not one to fall everywhere as soon as you open it. It may sound strange but I felt as though it was a little wet? It just seems to hold itself very well rather than flying everywhere.
On the eyes it looks just like I thought it would. It's the most stunning every day shade and I will most definitely be reaching for this on a regular basis.
I haven't tried anything from BM beauty before but I'm always pro cruelty free products and this eye shadow has definitely made me want to purchase more of their products!
