A few weeks ago, I posted about 'the new me' I wanted to start working on.
Since then, I haven't really done anything to stop myself from feeling like the lazy, unmotivated slob that I am. This week, I've started to finally feel like I need to get my butt into gear, and one of the big things I need to tackle is my hair.

As much as I love the length that my hair has finally reached, it's grown really odd and I feel like my layers are now completely separated. Currently, it's really hard to style, when I do style it, it's only a matter of a couple of hours before it's a mess again, and my split ends are ridiculous.

Because of this, I've been playing around with the idea to get a few inches chopped off again. Liam thinks I'll regret it, but I honestly feel it'll be better for my hair.

I think I'm leaning towards getting my bottom layer completely cut out. It's the layer that's most damaged, and the most grown out. This means I've been searching for hair-spiration photos for the past few days.
I'm definitely loving the Alexa Chung long bob and I really think that's something I'll end up with.

Colour-wise, you guys know me. I can't stay one colour for long. Only difference is this time, I really don't want to do anything too drastic.
I've avoided ombre for so long, mainly because my hair has never seemed the right length. But, looking at the above photos, I now really want to do it. Ok, it may be a dying trend (seriously, no pun intended,) but I am in love with the subtlety of these tresses on Emily Blunt and Shenae Grimes.

This is why I need you guys.
As much as I love the styles and colours above, I'd really like for you to comment with your suggestions below. Maybe link a photo or two.
I'm such an indecisive person and always I seem to get stuck in a rut when trying to choose something new.
Also, if you're reading this from somewhere around the Otley/Ilkley/Guiseley/Leeds area, can you suggest any good hair salons? I hate to say it, but I've not had my hair cut in a salon for nearly three years! Appalling.
I may be a little penniless right now, but my plan is to ask for the new do for Christmas, so as you can imagine. I'd love to have a rough idea what I'm doing with it by then.

Keep your eyes peeled for a few more posts I'm working on.
Other things I need to tackle is fitness, wardrobe and skin. Mine's been breaking out like crazy recently!

For months and months I've been hoping to come across this little dupe of magnificence.
If they didn't have OPI Rainbow Connection, every blogger I know of had this.
Carnival by Technic is an exact dupe for a much lower price tag. When Victoria of VIPXO blogged her ebay wishlist a few weeks back, I spotted this and knew I had to buy it there and then.
If you would like to purchase it yourself, you can pick it up HERE for only £2.49!!
This is how I last chose to wear Carnival. My family were visiting our friends at the Circus (Jay Millers Circus, if they are ever near by you, I really recommend you go see the show,) and unfortunately I missed out. I felt this polish was the perfect way to add a little circus to my life, and I created a somewhat glitter ombre effect.

What do you guys think of this very colourful glitter polish?
