SAM_0109
Saturday day was the day of the first ever FABB bloggers event.
Held at Chilli Whites in Leeds, the event was arranged and put together Ray of OhWhoIsShe and Tor of That's Peachy. The girls did amazing!

After a short train journey into Leeds, Sarah of Bowsandblushx and I met up with the lovely Erin of The 411 of Fashion. We then mooched down to the venue and were greeted by Ray, Tor and some other blogger girlies who were already there.

It was such a great afternoon and Ray and Tor did amazing. FABB events will be holding meets like this up and down the country, so make sure to keep your eyes on the FABB twitter account.

I also vlogged the day and the majority of the talks. If you are a new blogger, some of them may be of some use to you. :) You can see all of that and what we received in our fantastic goody bags below!
If you watch the video over on Youtube directly, there is a full list of bloggers who attended the event in the description box.

This Saturday saw the launch of Benefit's newest product, Fine One One
Fine One One is a sheer trio, created to revive dull cheeks and lips in seconds.

The twist up stick has three shades, pink champagne, sheer watermelon and soft coral. They can be used in several different ways to create many different looks. For example,
- Sweep up the cheeks and blend for a natural glow.
- Twist on the apple of your cheek and then zig zag up your cheek bone and blend for a more daring, structured look.
- Glide over your lips to give them a pop of sheer colour, and don't forget to use the pink champagne on your cupids bow to create the perfect pout.

The thing to remember, is to not be scared of how bright this product looks. I promise you, it isn't as scary on the skin.
The look I am wearing in the above photo was created using both Fine One One, using the twist and zigzag motion, and the Go TropiCoral kit. (Photo taken after getting stuck in the rain.)
I'd love to see how it works on my natural skin tone.

I adore this new product, and it's now sitting happily at the top of my wishlist.

Throughout the evening we were treated to a view at some of the other wonderful Benefit products, including the amazing They're Real Mascara. Yep, it's love right there. I need that mascara in my life. In the before and after photo above, believe it or not, the mascara was applied on top of what I was already wearing, and it still had an amazing effect on my lashes.

Some of us also had our eyebrows mapped, which for me was a totally new experience. Looking at the photos, it's such a difference that I think I need to warm to it, but I do like the look of the more structured brow.

As well as being surrounded by beautiful products, it was also a great opportunity to meet some new ladies and enjoy the wonderful cupcakes and sweets that had been laid out for us.
Sorry to any of the girlies I didn't get a chance to chat to, if you're reading this post, please leave your link in the comments, and thanks to Kirsty who arranged the whole thing. I enjoyed it so much.

Hi, lovelies!

Last night was the night of the #northernbloggersxmasparty. The party was arranged by the lovely Rachel from notesfrommycloset.blogspot.co.uk and was held at The Park inn hotel, York.
It was an absolutely amazing night!

I got ready far too early, but I was really happy with the outcome of a couple of hours playing with my make-up stash.
I also painted a couple of layers of Deborah Lippmanns Razzle Dazzle onto my nails.

My outfit for the night comprised of -
DRESS - Charity shop (BHS)
 JACKET - Blog sale (Matalan)
BOOTS - Nelly
EARRINGS - Kukee

Sorry about the not so greatly laid out photos. Liam took them for me, moments before I had to leave the house.
Organised Sam had turned into a very unorganised Sam by this point.

The room where the party was held was filled with lots of round tables with the most pretty center pieces. Sarah and I debated if we could get away with pinching it. Haha.
After a little confusion, we found that our table was labelled for Freelance writers. We were all pretty chuffed with that. I felt all fancy!
The night was filled with Christmas crackers, ridiculously yummy food, secret santa and a lot of dancing. Oh, and one rather merry fello who decided to pick on our table. He seemed to be everywhere!! (You'll see him on the vlog!)

Towards the end of the evening, we found a cute spot on the hotel stairs to take some outfit photos. I figured I would show you all what we were all wearing!

At eleven, we all started to head home.
I got back to mine a half past twelve, and proceeded to stay up until half past three to get the vlog edited and uploaded. You can watch it below!

Also, if you would like to go and check out the blogs of all of the other girlies, the links are as follows...

RANDOM CALL FOR BLOGGERS UP NORTH/IN LEEDS

Ok, here's the dealio. Sally from Rainydayfaces and I are travelling to London Friday to attend a Fashion show for LFW. We are stopping at my mums pub which is just outside of London and travelling back Saturday. We have a spare ticket, so we are looking for a leeds based blogger, or someone who can get to Leeds/Guiseley are first thing Friday morning to travel with me, to pick up Sally on the way. We are planning to split petrol costs and the travel pass for London is roughly £15 if you don't have an oyster card. If you are interested, please tweet me @whenflowersfall. We really don't want the ticket to go to waste. It's a great opportunity and you can make a couple of new friends. :)

Pictures6Today was the day of the blogger meetup in Leeds, organised by Ray and Tor
The event was held at Mook Bar in Leeds and it was the most amazing 3 hours I've had in a long time.  Not only did I get to meet a lovely bunch of girls, but we were also spoilt rotten with the most incredible goody bags.
Pictures7Pictures8We sat through talks from both Valerie from Wild and Amy from Xen-Tan, each brand of which I am now dying to try out. Luckily, we were given some Xen-Tan samples so I think that'll be used up pretty quickly!
We were also lucky enough to be given a piece of clothing each  from Glamorous, (of which I forgot to photograph), but I was lucky enough to get the infamous disco pant dupes. They are a little squeezy but I'll be most definitely be using them as my goal weight pants! Once I fit in them comfortably, I'll be happy.
Pictures10Like I said before, I had an amazing time, met some really lovely ladies and got some absolutely incredible goodies.
Thanks again to Ray and Tor for arranging it. I'm already looking forward to the next one!!
Bloggers in photos above - Danielle, Sarah, Ellie
I think I've followed everyone who was there, but if I have missed you, just shout at me and I'll fix it at one!
