Yup, I'm so late on the bandwagon with this one. Truth is, I have tried this before, but in the next shade down, which was totally the wrong colour for me and I ended up looking like an oompa loompa.
Shade 155 is the perfect ivory for me. Swatched on my hand (as seen in picture above) it does look like a pretty stark contrast in comparison to my skin, but matched on my face, it's perfect. I must just have incredibly pale hands.
I love the formula of this foundation; I love the fact that it isn't super thick, making it really blendable and easy to work with. Coverage wise, I'd describe it as light to medium. I find it evens my skin tone, but doesn't cover breakouts so well. I don't mind this as I actually like a more natural finish. It covers enough to hide most of the redness around my nose and that's all that really matters to me.
I'd describe the finish of this foundation as demi-matte. It's incredibly flattering on the skin and keeps you looking radiant all day long.
Worn throughout the day, this foundation did wear away a little around my nose and mouth, but after a ten hour day, I was still happy with the product.
I purchased the 115 shade from Fragrance Direct for £4.75. I've found it a hard shade to find in a drugstore, so if you do have no luck finding it, make sure you check out the link.
I have posted a first impression video for this foundation over on my youtube channel. So if you would like to see how this looks for yourself and maybe get a few more of my opinions, head on over by clicking the link below.
