Maybelline Colour Tattoo - Pink Gold

Pictures6DSC_0059Pictures10

Hi, my lovelies!

It's been a little while since I last did a little product review.

Today, I'm sharing with you a new favourite of mine. The Maybelline colour tattoo cream eye shadow in Pink gold.
When these products first popped up on the shelves I did pick up three shades, but when I recently saw this one appear I knew I had to have it straight away.

I've been a little on the fence about these products, I find that certain shades apply better than others , but this one applies like a dream. I usually apply it with a brush, but it as just as easily applied with your fingers.
The consistency of the eye shadow is perfectly smooth and blends really well!
I've heard a couple of people say that they think the colour of this product makes them look a little tired or ill, but if you do like a soft eye or something quite natural looking, I feel this is the perfect eyeshadow for you.

Like myself, you can either wear this alone or as a base for a different colour/product.
Just as Maybelline claims, this product does last a very long time. I can't say that I have tested it out for a full twenty four hours, but I can vouch for a good sixteen at least.

I absolutely adore the packaging. The glass may not be ideal if you travel a lot as it can be slightly heavier, but I do think it gives a more 'expensive' feel.
As with the rest of the colour tattoos, this product is sold for £4.99 and you can pick it up at any Boots or Superdrug store that stocks Maybelline products.

  1. I have three of these, eternal gold (not quite the right colour for me but I'm not very adventurous), on and on bronze which I really like and has the best staying power and permanent taupe which is my absolutely favourite but doesn't seem to have as much staying power on my lids as the others. I'll definitely need to look into this one though, I think it'll go well with my colouring :)

    1. I really need to get my hands on the taupe. The gold is the one I wasn't too sure about. It just never seems to blend well for me. Xx

  2. This colour looks really pretty on you Sam, it really brightens the eyes :) I have the permanent taupe shade and love it! I wear it as a base to help other eyeshadows look brighter or as a crease contour shade :)
