It's a big'un!

Somehow I managed to end on the River Island website this morning and I ended up falling in love with so many pieces.

After London Fashion Week, I am yet again craving to revamp my wardrobe. I kind of feel like I need to start dressing my age, and maybe a little less like a fashion confused teenager.
The clothes I have in my wardrobe are pretty much things I would have worn five or six years ago, and I think I need to finally move away from that.

My ultimate goal is to have a wardrobe a little more sophisticated, but still edgy. I love the addition of different textures and materials.

I had to add the rose gold watch, because I am still way behind on that one, and I still haven't managed to get my grubby mitts on one.

What do you guys think of the pieces from River Island at the minute. I for one love them.

Hi Lovelies!
I've been looking for some new leggings to purchase for this winter but I really can't make my mind up! I've picked out my top 8 faves and I have 4 from each of my favourite clothing websites, so I thought I'd run a little poll.

Which pair do you like best, and which company do you prefer to buy from? Just leave a comment in the box below and let us all know what you think!
(Click Photo to Enlarge)
1. Lola Velvet Full Length Leggings £10.00
2. Annie PU Lace Panelled Leggings £10.00
3. Hannah Knitted Aztec Leggings £15.00
4. Lauren Criss Cross Design Knitted Leggings £12.00
5. Kiara Heavyweight Leggings With Suede Style Patches £18.99
6. Sabine Mole Skin Leggings With Side Fringing £13.99
7. Prudence High Waisted Leggings £9.99
8. Tammya Velvet Leggings £9.99

I think I'm swaying towards the Boohoo Aztec leggings because I'm crazy for anything with aztec print right now, and the missguided velvet ones, I can wear them with almost anything, a big oversized knitted jumper  or a tan coloured winter trench coat.

Do forget to tell me what you think!

With winter rearing it's ugly head more every day, most people jump at the chance to fill their wardrobes with chunky knits, wooly scarves and winter boots, but this season we have seen a big come back for velvet. With it's luxe look and soft to the touch qualities, it's make any item a perfect winter staple.
This winter, Topshop has a massive collection of velvet items for sale, from simple ballet pumps, to fetish style corset tops. Personally, I am in love with the red dress you can see in the center (above). Top colour picks this season are deep reds, royal blues and jewel tones. There's something for everybody.

What do you guys think of velvet this winter?
