I mean George, as in Asda! Silly.

I trundled into our reasonably new Asda living the other day, just for a nosey. I came out wanting what feels like the entirety of the George section.

Now, I know George isn't  for everyone, and it definitely isn't up there with the likes of  Zara and Topshop. But, I really think the new seasons items are top notch. I wasn't too impressed with the Winter pickings, but Spring and Summer have really made me want to splurge.

Knits are still big, which for me, is good thing. Even in the middle of Summer, I'd probably still be freezing.
I'm loving the wide variety of monochrome also, I think simple black and white are a great way to make your wardrobe more 'grown up', which is something I've been craving for a long time.
Peplums are still very popular also. I know a lot of people are getting a little sick of it by now, but I personally love this trend and am yet to get on it. I just love the shape it creates.
As well as monochrome, I am wanting to add a little more colour into my closet. I currently own a ton of blue pieces, so I think it would be nice to get some girly pink tones and bright yellows and lime greens too.

I've picked out a whole load of tops, purely because I'd love to be able to just chuck all of mine out. (And by chuck, I mean give to charity.) I recently got a few new pairs of jeans/leggings etc just before Christmas, so these are really all I need at the minute.

George is ridiculously affordable and I could pick up the fourteen pieces for only £160!

If you follow me on Twitter, I would like to apologise. Recently I've been blathering on about my lack of decent clothes and my dire wardrobe.
Along with a lot of things, fashion is something that suffered in my bad months. I dressed dowdy and plain and I had no confidence to pull off the clothes I love. Luckily, I am finally getting my own style back, my hair has been dyed pink, rather than the plain brunette I dyed it months ago, I'm wearing a lot more brighter colours and I'm finally wanting to give my wardrobe a total revamp!
Unfortunately, where I live jobs are very sparse, and even though I'm now in the right frame of mind to get back to work, the job opportunities just aren't there. I take a little comfort in knowing that I'm not alone and a friend of mine is also struggling to find work.
I wanted to create this post to show you guys what my wardrobe would be filled with if I didn't have the financial issues holding me back!
I'm very much loving print leggings, loose tank tops and absolutely anything with studs or spikes. Shoe wise, even though I am 5ft 11", I am craving anything with a platform, and again the addition of spikes will only make me want a shoe even more.
Being a slightly 'curvier' girl, I feel like I have to have a lot of confidence to wear such fashion, and I honestly feel like I finally have that confidence.
The moment I manage to get some work, I am saving my pennies and going on a mad wardrobe overhaul. This could in all honesty take months, but I am promising you guys now that once I am happy with what I wear, I will be posting many more fashion posts and OOTD's. If I were to do it right now, you'd just see me as the dowdy person I was six months ago.
