Well, hello there.
You guys know that I spent weeks worrying about what I was going to wear on my trip to London.
After a week of free listings on ebay, I managed to raise enough funds to buy a new pair of boots, and Orange Circle offered to send me a T-shirt to sport on the day too.
Unfortunately, that t-shirt still hasn't arrived and I think it may have gotten lost in the world of Royal Mail.
So, without further a do, here is what I managed to pull together.
Jacket - Charity Shop / DIYBoots - Ebay
Rings - Otley market, Kukee, Engagement ring.
Now, you may be wondering how I'm still wearing an Orange Circle Tee. I did have this one in my wardrobe, but it was sporting a rather evil looking stain. On the day before I left, the day I realised I wasn't going to receive the new one, I attacked it with bleach and luckily the stain came out. I felt really bad that they had sent me a t-shirt to wear and I still wanted to show off some Orange Circle if I could.
The jacket was a last minute change of plan. I did originally plan to wear a sheer, silky cream jacket I had customised. But, being London, it was rather windy and nippy so I figured the denim would be a better choice. I even had a photo of it taken. (Just wish I had found out what for.)
As you can see form my face, I was pretty shattered from the 5 hour drive earlier that day, so I decided to go minimal with make-up, but wear a bold lip.
My hair was a disaster. Originally it was down and beachy looking, but it was roasting in the Freemasons Hall and I ended up scraping it back.
I think if I'm to go next year, I will choose to dress differently. Maybe a little less casual?
That being said, I am glad I was comfortable, because I felt ever so sorry for Ebony, who had been wearing her heels since seven in the morning.
Make sure to go over to
Sally and
Ebony's blog to see what they wore.
