Hey cutie patooties,
If you read my Monday Make-up post, then you'd probably be expecting this eyebrow themed update.
Eyebrows are a big thing in the beauty world at the minute, with the gorgeous Miss Cara Delevinge leading the way of course. I also went to Twitter yesterday to see which other beautifully browed ladies come top of your idol list.
Most popular seemed to be the stunning Lily Collins, and I can totally see why. She has strong, thick brows which are definitely the center piece of her already jealousy inducing face.

Other top picks were Penelope Cruz, Lauren Conrad, Audrey Hepburn and Eva Longoria.

So, when it comes to eyebrows, I've done it all. Full blown, untamed big bird wannabes, to over plucked, barely there worms.
Last summer I attempted to grow out my eyebrows to start again, but with me being the control freak that I am, I gave in and ended up giving them a tweeze. Since then I've tried to keep them in a good middle ground, filling them in to give the illusion of prettier, stronger brows.
The time has come to try and grow them out again. I like to think I have a good natural arch, one of which is slightly more angular than the other. This irritates me. Right now my brows are slightly untamed, but nothing that's too obviously annoying. I'm going to leave them to get increasingly untamed, in hope that in a few weeks I can revamp my face with some new bold, beautifully shaped brows.
I'm planning on posting little 'Mission Eyebrows' posts throughout the weeks. That way you guys can see the progress and maybe even keep me from throwing in the towel too early. (Again.) Also, if you guys can give me any tips to maybe help along the process, I would be very grateful.
Have you tried to grow and reshape your brows before?
Sam
I tried to grow mine out once, but I gave in as I had to go to a wedding and two hedges above my eyes would not help :D Good luck!x
ReplyDeleteThanks! I think I may need it. I nearly reached for the tweezers last night! Eek!
DeleteI have never really done a lot to my brows. Up until about a year ago I had done nothing to them... ever. I now just tidy them and do a bit of filling with benefit browzings. LOVE that brow product! :) I love how long your brows are! Best of luck with your brow mission lovely :)
ReplyDeleteLove, Rachel
I never used to fill mine in really either. I think I'd feel a little nakey if I didn't now though. xx
DeleteI haven't been able to 'grow' my brows in years! I get mine done at a beauticians every payday(4 weeks) where she does the HD Brows treatment.. My last visit has been sometime ago (with having baby etc..) so they are looking a bit unruly! However, they still show signs of many years over plucking! :/
ReplyDeleteLove all the choice of brows, id love natural strong brows.. I feel due to years over plucking that mine always look 'drawn on'..
Good luck with your mission.. Look forward to seeing your updates. :)

Do you think the HD brows treatment has helped at all. I'm so tempted by it! xx
DeleteEyebrows are the biggest pain ever! I can never get them how I want them and when I'm growing them out they don't grow where I want them too so they never actually change shape when I give up and get rid of the really awful bits that have grown low down on my brow bone.
ReplyDeleteI never used to do anything to my eyebrows but now I've started filling them in I can't not do them.

Ditto about the filling them in thing. I currently feel like my eyebrows are going to start growing on my eyeballs. Haha. I never knew my eye brow hairs grew so low down! xx
